I have a notebook Asus ROG GL702ZC with rx580 gpu.
I did brick it by flash bad bios (I did set worng bios params and flashed it) I have black screen now even I dont see bios, bootlogo and...
I have a chance: the notebook boot correctly with win10 and I can shutdown it with run command: shutdown /f /s
I have original bios backup flash and other flasher tools in there, but I cant see any thing to use them and restore original flash.
The RemoteDesktop is disabled too
I can switch to bios but cant see any thing.

how can I restore original bios in this situation?

PLEAS HELP :'(

This may help you. Some notebooks have a rescue flash method.
Yours may be similar to the one in the link I posted.
And the key combinations may or may not work for you.
But I would start with a by clearing the CMOS. (Remove the button cell battery)

Maybe a good time to use a USB gpu to hook up an external monitor so you can see what you are doing and reflash. USB gpus aren't that expensive.

Are you sure?! how the windows detect it(auto install driver)? How windows select priority, it my focus on currently gpu!

No I do not need your physical GPU and to answer your question about the USB drive what it will do is that a will install itself as a USB drive but then it has a Incorporated VGA adapter in it that Windows can detect and use a built-in Windows driver, you need to hook an external monitor to it.

You may also try to utilize the rear video ports on the gpu to see if that function works.

If you look in my reply at the bottom of it there are several links on how to flash a graphics card there are also a couple links I will provide for videos for you to watch.

It is good you saved the original bios because laptop gpus are paired/mated with laptop motherboard, aka whitelists.

One thing I do need though please take a picture of the back of the graphics card where the white sticker is and post that information here if you have the original box the card came in please take a picture of the white label as a barcode on it from that box and post it here as well that will help me to be able to determine what most likely your bios is so I can look for it

Ok, yes a monitor, hook it up to back of laptop, if it has vga, hdmi, dvi or dp hook it up and see if you can get video, if not get a usb graphics adapter plug it in and hook external monitor to that.

I removed part of my reply earlier realizibg it was a laptop and not desktop.

My links below work, same with the videos.

Some laptops have a function to turn built in monitor on or off, usually it starts with holding the fn key down then pressing another key, try that too.

The notebook only has HDMI out put, I connected it to TV but does not send any output
I create a .bat file contains: atiflash.exe - i > f:\info.txt
and connect to it, run it and result is:
"CAN NOT LOAD DRIVER"



What is next suggestion?!

-How I can reflash it?
-If I reflash the ASUS BIOS, will be reflash GPU?!

while the atiflash give me error "can not load driver" assume I got external gpu, how I can load rx580 driver again and reflash it?!

Stupid mistake...

I used Polaris Bios Editor and in "Memory" section change MHz and mV and brick happend.

If the current gpu does not work, does RDP works? the RDP client draw the screen or RDP server?!

At this time, I have remote access to: registery, services, event-viewer an etc.
Also RDP service is started, but unfortunately RDP port does not open! (I cant understand why!) even the netstat output (netstat -a -b -o >info.txt) did not show RDP 3389 port in the notebook!!!

any idea?!

are you sure about it can be detect az external graphic card independently?!

Since it is only a month old you may have to RMA it to save yourself a headache because the flash a graphics card there's no driver required for it to begin with

I resolve administrator rights, but I get erorr:

YES!!!
Let start begin story: I'm programmer and I bought this note book for programming propose, so I don't need to powerful of RX-580, several day ago I decided to LOWER clock the gpu to make notebook cooler... so I change the clock section of gpu and flash it but the clock didn't change in gpu-z ! so I try to change the memory section and brick happend.

Can you help me to LOWER clock the gpu? I think 30% of rx580 powerful only is enough for me.
