help me ryzen 9 7900x cooling

i have a ryzen 9 7900x with corsair h100i platinum 240mm chamber is 20 degrees cpu idle 50 degrees gaming 75 benmark 10 seconds 95 degrees is a corsair icue h150i elite capellix xt 360mm will it hit better temps or another aio

A 360, a 280 or a 420 should cool it slightly better. But currently I believe the Artic Cooling Liquid Freezer II is the only AIO that has an AMD offset mount which gives it an advantage over other brands AIO to cool Ryzen 7xxx x series. So if you are serious about getting the most out of your CPU, you don't really have a choice unless other manufacturers follow suit, or they find out a better way to cool them new ryzens.

My advice: Put the max CPU temp limit to 85C in the UEFI and you will be good.

No, it will always hit 95C, my 7900 with PBO which effectively turns it into a 7900X hits 95C as well though not typically in gaming just in stress tests.

how come w1zzard's review of the 7000 series cpu's show gaming temps to be quite good? like in the 70s i believe i remember. for stress it does hit 95 though ya

In games mine does not reach 95C either but in stress tests it does. But depending on how the fan curve is tuned it can absolutely hit 95C even in games.

Yeah 360mm rad will do a little better than a 240mm probably only a couple celsius.
