They are both DDR3 @ 1600 MHz and the same timings. I would say just get the cheaper one, both good enough names. Crucial gets good reviews on Newegg which is always my go-to site for reviews.
Looks like Crucial has the same RAM here with 5 eggs over 70+ reviews.
This is assuming you'll be upgrading your MoBo to something that supports DDR3 and 1600.
Thanks jed. Yeah, I could do with a bit of advice on whether my intended mobo is compatible with everything - I presume it would be, but it's good to check. It's a Gigabyte Z77 D3H, and the plan atm is to get an i5 3570k, the Crucial Ballistix RAM, an ATi 7870 and A Corsair PSU around 500W. Any potential compatibility issues there?
