Help me with my stuttering

Howdy lads.

I've been experiencing stuttering in games and I can't seem to figure out why it's happening to me!

It happens when I use v-sync or not and my GPU and CPU temps are safe and I usually get constant 60FPS but the stutters remain!

I have figured out one thing which I'm going to assume points to something!
While I play GTA 5 and I stand by a busy street and watch all the cars whizz by and people walk by they actually remain smooth! If I use my keyboard to move left and right they remain smooth but when I track a car with my mouse it's stuttering! the car seems to jump back and forth slightly but constantly but once I stop moving the move then the car remains as smooth as butter!

I'm wondering now.... this has got to be my mouse??

I've seen this on a couple game forums and high dpi mice, the most fingerpointing is at usb2.0 and drivers.

Try your mouse plugged into a usb 3x port and see if there is an update to the usb controller.

Alright lads,
I've tried switching to a USB 3.0 and the problem continues and I also borrowed my brothers mouse and the same issue still persists :/
I tried using a gamepad and it did glide smoothly without any stuttering :eek:

SO it has got to be a mouse issue??
But both mice that I've tried have this issue???? What's going on :O

if there is a mouse smoothing option turn it off, whether in windows, the driver or the game itself

That motherboard has 11 bios updates so far, maybe something to look at https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z97-PC-Mate.html#down-bios
some of them are about usb controller and different keyboards compatibilty

The Roccat Kone is a highly regarded gaming mouse. However laser mice DO have some tradeoffs, which is why many manufacturers are now making high DPI optical mice. Just the fact that you say a proper mouse mat made it smoother somewhat refutes what people say about laser mice working well on most surfaces too.

My BIOS is currently updated full so sadly that won't help

Yeah I've noticed the Optical mice returning which I've also been considering myself!
Sorry If I didn't make it more clear, When I mentioned the gamepad I mean't an xbox 360 controller ^^

It comes with this suite software but I removed it and tried it that way but sadly the issue continued :/

I don't have a ball mouse to try out sadly!

I was playing some DayZ last night and noticed that the 60fps that I was getting also felt like 60fps and the mouse stuttering wasn't present in that game.
SO I guess some games are effected and others just aren't?!

I dont use any of that ASUS software, its pure crap. Some people have luck with it but its the rolling dice it works everytime you reboot.

as far as the ball mouse (PS2 connector), go find a used PC parts store and pick one up for 2-3 bucks.
