Hello all. I want to buy a new GPU and i have 3 options...
1. SAPPHIRE 7870 GHZ Ed OC 2Gb -209 €
2. SAPPHIRE 7950 Boost 3Gb - 244 €
2.1 SAPPHIRE 7950 Vapor-X 3Gb - 259 €
3. MSI GTX 660 Ti PE OC 2Gb - 250 €

I want to buy the new GPU in the next 2 weeks... so no hurry

If you go for the Sapphire 7950 Boost check out OcUK. It's a HIS 7950 Boost but they give you a couple of free games I see and it's €4 less as well.

Unless you are going to buy Borderlands 2 anyway (or sell it), you can drop it from the calculations. My pick would be 7870GE or 660Ti, but given that you are using 570 atm I think 660Ti is a better choice.

Get the Sapphire HD 7950 Boost. even before the latest drivers HD 7950 was on par with GTX 670 when overclocked.

With the latest 12.11 beta drivers the HD 7950 is beating GTX 680 when both cards are overclocked.

the GTX 660 Ti is not a competitor to the HD 7950 Boost at stock and not a chance when overclocked.

also OCuk has the NEVER SETTLE game bundle which is worth 170 bucks of games. amazing . HIS ICEQ HD 7950 Boost is a good option. the cooler is one of the best.

Wiz's charts show that the 660Ti is equal to (or just behind) 7950, slowly losing performance as the resolution goes up, so I am not sure which one is definitely better.

If every drop of value matters too you, you should check out in your country if they are doing any game bundles with the AMD cards

I'm sure if the OP is just gonna game on a 1080p resolution the 660Ti PE is pretty damn good for the money.

Even as the rates between the three are comparable, the sweet card of the bunch tends to be the 7950 with the 3Gb of memory.

Since I do F@H for team 31630, the extra memory on the GPU card makes a big difference overall to the other cards in the WU PPD totals.

Just raw GPU power isn't the answer. A great GPU with plenty of memeory is the best solution.

Can't go wrong with any of the 3. But if you're just using 1080p, then 7870 is enough and saves you some money.

Right now I'm tempted by the Saph standard 7950 for $270 with MIR at Newegg. I think I'd rather just have the original manual OC boost tech than this new auto boost crap.

I have the sapphire 7950. I can vouch that with stock drivers (the ones that shipped) and no OC on either the CPU (AMD 945) or GPU, I cranked Crysis 2 up 16x AF 8x AA highest quality, this wasnt able to touch the 7950.

The 7950 maxes everything out there more than you can imagine, so it is a great buy if you are looking for enthusiast level.

Honestly, for what they cost, I don't think any of those cards will give enough of a performance boost to justify upgrading your current GTX570. But, if I was to buy one of the cards you listed, I'd pick the Vapor-X

ya the 660 doesnt offer too much over prev gen, Only way youd have a considerable upgrade is 670/680 or R 7870, 7950, 7970.

Anyone know if the 7950, specifically Sapphire, is finicky about what display is used? I'm a bit gun shy of going with the 600 series Nvidia cards ever since an MSI 660 Ti caused the Nvidia Control Panel to start showing my display as not HDCP capable, which resulted in BSOD when switching from TV to PC. I never have that problem with my GTS 250 installed. I never thought I'd have such software issues with an Nvidia card.
