4870 would be overkill for both resolution and power supply used.

Oh right 4870 needs two 6-pin PCI-e power connectors. Bit of a power hog. HD4670? I remember when it came out it was the fastest benchmarked GPU that didn't require any external power. They were the best bus powered card at the time IIRC.
