i was gonna buy ati radeon 5670, but i read some of the post here and almost all of u guys rejected it when comparing it with gts250 and 4850 and 4870...i just want a card in this price range to play ac 2 at max graphics... any help will be useful!!!

the only thing a 5670 has over a 4850/70 is DX 11. A 5670 has 400 shaders compared to the 4850/70 which both have 800 and are differentiated by the memory used (ddr3 on a 4850 and ddr 5 on a 4870). your best bet would be a 4870 out of the 3 you listed as its still a very decent performer.

The HD5670 is worse than the GTS250, HD4850, and HD4870. So don't even bother.
The HD5670 has DX11 support, but won't actually be able to use it because it is too weak, it is already struggling just to keep DX10 titles at playable framerates.
The best option is the HD4870, with the HD4850 and GTS250 at right about the same performance level.

I'l show you how to get them. Download CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php. This will tell us what processor you have and if you download GPU-Z from here http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1788/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.4.2.html. This will tell you what GPU you have and from there we could make a basic guess about what the best GPU to get is.
