Hello everyone.
I recently upgraded my 3 monitors from 9+ years old BenQ's to brand new Samsung CFG74 24". Everything else in my system remained the same, including the graphics card (MSI GTX 1080 gaming X). Both new and old monitors are/were configured as NV surround (i/e combined to make one large screen just like AMD eyefinity).
The issue is: After the upgrade, 2 of the new monitors (the right and left ones) do not go to sleep after the computer sleeps or shuts down, in stead they remain on and show a moving "mode not supported" message and remain so. Therefore I have either to cut the power off them or hold the joystick to force them to turn off. The center monitor (which happens to be the one showing the UEFI messages) sleeps and behaves as expected.
Anyone has the same issue? Anyone knows how to fix this issue?
And BTW the old monitors were connected through DVI cables which are in turn connected to DVI to DP adapters, the new monitors are connected through DP cables (the ones that came with them) directly to the graphics card.
And yes I made sure the the display port setting in my monitors is set to PC (not AV) which is the default.
Any help will be appreciated.
