Hi everyone, I'm facing a tricky task.
My problem is that the other PC(Windows 7 Ultimate) refuses to boot to desktop anymore, instead it prompts me to choose between normal boot and startup repair, although for a very long time I am no longer able to use keyboard at that stage, so it always starts startup repair, finishes it's thing and on the reboot I still can't boot to desktop.
I really don't care about that, before I reinstall or install another OS on it I want to recover one important folder, most likely using the command prompt since it's one of the options I have to choose after I cancel startup repair.
The folder and it's contents are important to me because I put a lot of time gathering it's contents.
So folder name is Fallout New Vegas mods, inside should be other folders that have mods assigned according to the sub folder name, retextures, armors, weapons, replacements and so on.
I figured I could use xcopy, although I can't figure out how to copy folders with space in their name and I'm not sure if it will copy the whole thing, contents included at around 11GB.
I plan to move the 11GB mod folder from the HDD to my 16GB USB flash drive and from there to wherever I need it.
