Help with case fans... 80mm adjustable speed

Ok, I have a Thermaltake XaserII case. It has 5 80mm case fans and a switch to adjust from: Low, Medium, High. The original fans died awhile ago and I have since just put in 5 Coolermaster Blue LED case fans in it. I let them run on HIGH all the time but being in my bedroom at night it gets a little frustrating being so loud. Now when I drop it to medium they run like crap ... very slow and sometimes just stop. They are fairly new but I don't think they are adjustable via the switch on the case. I'm trying but failing to find a nice set of fans that will run on low, medium & high via the switch. I don't care about the LED anymore just want the case to be QUIET! Can someone help me out with finding a set of fans that will run at 3 speeds and are some what the same as the original fans that came with the case? I've bought several types and keep ending up with them being either extremely noisy and NON adjustable or adjustable but on low and medium don't put out hardly any air flow. The original case fans (made by Thermaltake, worked like a charm and I use to keep the case on medium 24/7.

Answering your question in another way though I would suggest looking for 80mm fan's with or without LED's (your choice) but just make sure they have a high RPM... something of about 5000rpm, that way when you put it on medium & low, they should still be hitting around the 2000rpm mark which should be enough air being pushed to keep your bits cool

Well the original fans worked great. They were orange in color. But when they died I just replaced them with fans just as you stated HIGH RPM fans but they don't like the voltage drop when changed to medium and the side fan dies on LOW.

I've been looking just can't seem to come across a good set that will keep the PC cool-n-quiet while on medium. They don't make the fans that came with the case anymore or I can't find the part anywhere online using the part #.

I did have 4x 80mm thermal fans i bought years n years n years ago but I cant remember the brand (2 are still in use in my back up pc)

the only few 80mm fans i can think of (if not the Akasa ones with LEDs that go at 3000+ RPM) is the Akasa Amber series fans. - but they have a lower RPM & also make a bit less noise then the fan that just died on you.

ermmm........Artic Cooling make 80mm fans too

but unfortunately its not as good as the one that died on you. but the words 80mm + silence dont fit in the same sentance.

Scythe KAMA FLEX's have had many good reviews - but they are noisey & thats where your fan controller will come into good use.
