Good morning folks. I just bought a copy of Win 7 x64. The ISO is sitting on my raptor waiting to be burned.

Can you guys help me customize it?

I have done nLite with xp, but i don't know how to tweak win 7.

This is what i'm thinking...make a copy of the iso so i won't nuke the original if something goes wrong...anything wrong with that?

I don't know if it matters, but i'm going to put it on the system that's in my specs.

The 4650 is actually in my win 7 32-bit machine (HTPC), and this rig has a 8500 gt (used for CUDA in Matlab).

All tweaks will be welcomed EXCEPT illegals...unethical, depending, is fine.

I own the key for it's activation...blah blah

I'm going to bed now, but look forward to seeing some ideas in the morning. Thanks TPU!

i suggest leaving it be. vista and 7 are bloatier than XP, and always will be - you cant trim the fat without breaking things down the line. And they always do break, i'm getting tired of seeing threds with people complaing "X program/game wont work, whyyyyyy" and finding out they used Nlite/Vlite >.<
