Hello all ! I have a quick question...What do you guys think of this laptop?
http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=760576&affixedcode=WW

This laptop would be for college school work and some medium gaming(world of warcraft).
It's apparently on sale, just arrived and it seems like it would really get the job done for the price... under $1,000
I am looking to purchase one this weekend possibly, and need some help.
Ps... I'm Canadian so don't direct me to newegg/ncix, cause i live in Ontario :)
I have also checked tigerdirect, but for that price range they didn't have any laptops with
over 2g ram and all they offered were integrated cards.

Thanks ahead of time guys !!

Don't count out a laptop if it has less than 2GB of ram. Ram is currently very cheap and easy to install, and you will likely be charged more by having it pre-configured into the laptop, than doing it yourself anyway.

You need to enter a postal code. I used K1R 0A1, because that's what a quick google brought up. :p

But that laptop will max WoW out. It looks good to me. I have NO idea how much a canadian dollar is worth, but well.. Web Cam, FM Tuner (WTF?!), 801.11n wireless.. The regular price seems to be like $1050, so I'd say go for it. :)

the spec isnt too bad - 1 pointer though - try chagning the CPU up to a T8xxx or T9xxx CPU - their 45nm fabs = more performance perclock & longer battery life.

as for the ATi 3650 - its more or less on par with a Nvidia 8600M GT, which isnt too bad at all for the 15.4 resolution
