Help with Vista Ultimate 64x on Dell Lat D630

I just installed Vista Ultimate 64x on my dell laptop and i am having a few problems. Even drivers straight from dell's support for a 64 version arent working, but that isnt my biggest concern atm. Can Someone tell me where i can get a touchpad driver and my sata driver for my computer...the dell drivers

What kind of errors do you get attempting to install said drivers? Have you tried MS Update from Control Panel to see if it picks up the drivers you need?

Make sure you have all the latest drivers from MS update. Also, are you running services pack 1?

i know your already here, but the stuff should work, these are all the drivers and stuff for your 64, you could have possiuble installed them in the wrong order making a error occur thats what the first link is for, hope this helps

Unless you have more than 3GB, why even bother putting Vista64 on a laptop? :confused:

Ok thanks, im gonna start trying all the stuff again in a little. and polarman, i installed 64x because im going to be ordering 4gb(2x2gb) of ddr 2 ram off newegg. Also, the touchpad driver im looking for is not on the 64x list, but only on the 32. Does any1 know any touchpad drivers that would let me use the scrollbars on the bottom and the right?
