I just joined and i'd like to say Hi to everyone and so u some of my overclocking results

Here's some of my best overclocking results:

Q6600 G0 @ 4.1GHz on AIR :eek:

Corsair Dominator PC2 8500 RAM:

855MHz @ 3-2-2-1 W/ 2.4v

1111MHz @ 4-4-4-3 W/2.3v

I'm still working on my RAM overclocking

I don't want to rasie the volts much higher then 2.4v cause i'm scared it might die.

Can you give your full system specs? I've been looking to see how well the dominators oc, this looks very promising.

Very nice overclock, especially for air. I could get my old G0 to 3.6 on air before temps got too warm to suit me.

And is it stable? Or just enough to do a SuperPi run?

What kind of cooler are you using ,just looking at the temps they are nice too for that kind of clock.

yeah you cant go to 4.1, run PI and call it an overclock, it doesnt mean its stable. run OCCT and i can guarantee within 10 seconds it will say a crash error. I can take my Q6600 to 4Ghz, boot, run super PI but cant run OCCT for more than 5 seconds.

I wasn't going for a 24/7 overclock. Well i can also tell u it woudn't last for 8hr in Prime @ those volts, i'd rasie them but i don't want to risk blowing my chip and/or degeding it futher. I can run Super PI 16M

I can't ever run 32M because even with stock settings it gets so random error.

I ran 8M at 4095MHz, but not at 4104Mhz as i thought there was no point. I'll try to run 16M next time I have a cold morning.

For cooling i used a Thermalright IFX-14 with a 220CFM Delta fan. The room temp was around 5C.

I just went and overclocked it to 4.0GHz and ran Super PI 16M and wPrime 1024M. It worked

I would have tried 4.1GHz but it wasn't cold enough for me.

what revision of dominator u r using? i guess it's rev.1.x eh? micron chips?

I'm not 100% sure on my RAM rev. but I got it like 4months ago, if that means anything. Its either D9GMH or D9GKX. Anyway that RAM overclock is nothing for me, i'v done 1111MHz @ 4-3-2-1. But i forgot to screen shot, so i expect that no one will believe me. But i'll do it again some day. I did do it that time because i need my 220CFM delta to cool them (over kill) and it was in the morning and it was to noisey for my mum
