HI, I'd like to get advice on 480m Radiator and reservoir for a Thermaltake Core P5

....I;ve never done water cooling, and I really wanted the Core P7 but it is out of stock So I went with the P5.

I want to use Thermaltake parts - Already have the 4 fans (120m Riing quads).
Any advice on how to go about this would be most appreciated!

There seem to be a few different radiators and reservoirs, so maybe someone can point me to the best one. Thank you!

CPU and GPU? Tt does have a D5 based pump and Res. I haven't used any of their stuff so I can't comment about there stuff specifically.

For now just the CPU, at least to get started.
If I could have bought the Core P7 I could do one, then the other, as it's gonna cost a quite a bit.
I have a couple of Ideas for my own extensions if Thermaltake won't sell me them.
Not a hard thing to do with a chassis as open as this one is. I don't want to but an AIO
and get stuck with fans I don't want. Probably going to have to watch some videos
but I figured I'd ask here also. I really like the Thermaltake products, especially the Quad fans.

Is this for a new build or the one in your profile... I agree that a CLC type 240 AIO is a waste of money and a $50 cooler will outperform it but I don't really see any value to water cooling a 130 watt 1660S 1660S and 65 watt 10500. You have just about 200 watts of heat load and 40% of that will be radiated off your componentry leaving about . The 120 watt average cooling load.

With 1400 rpm fans, each fan will take care of 68 watts for each 120mm of 45 mm thick rad at a Delta T of 10C, 2 fans therefore will provide more than enough cooling. Even if you eliminated case cooling, and 200 watts, those 2 fans would give you a Delta T of 14C ... 3 fans would be overkill.

If you were powering the $500 AMD CPUs or a 3080 / 6800 XT, then i could see using the 480mm.

You might consider a Swiftech's H360 which is an AIO but its all copper, OLC rather than CLC (it's expandable) and will more than easily handle your loadings and w/o the headaches of CLC type AIOS w/ aluminum rads. When new stock arrives, they sell out almost immediately, so availability can be tough. Alphacool and EK have similar offerings

Yeah, I was checking 480m Radiators $100 - $129 for the different models Cl, RL....The Blocks are $100 also.

This will be a different build, for a Thermaltake Core P5 case.
An AMD/Ryzen build is next but I want to get The radiator and fans into the P5 case with what I have in the View 71
and after that, I'll switch in the new parts as I can get them ( alot is out of stock, amazing!)
You certainly know your stuff, and I appreciate you explaining it that way.
The GPU, CPU processor will be a bit bigger as well as a PSU at least 1050.

I'd really like to get the reservoir, radiator, CPU block and get it up and running.
I'm looking at 4-500$.
