I've got a Hiper type R580 watt psu, but I did not get the pci-e power lead with it. Would it be ok to mod one of the molex leads, and add 2x 6pin pci-e power connectors on it instead of the molex?
Would it put too much strain on the 12v rail/s (I believe this has 2x12v rails but connected to the same source on the ppsu's board)
The rail/s are 20 and 18 amp.
