I need to get a new gpu this week, i have sort of narrowed it down to two choices so far[but im way open to suggestions]. Dont want to spend over 330$[even thats a lot really]

There is the his-7950 3gb, or the msi hawk 7870 2gb for exactly the same price, which one do you think is best value for money i wonder?

I have done a bit of research, however, i respect the opinions of members here , and would love to hear what folks think?
regs from me.

Frankly an opinion isn't needed based off of the price and reviews for both cards. The answer is an obvious one. ;)

What are the MSi 7950 tf3's going for in your area? They seem to regularly dip below $300 in my neck of the woods. The 7950 would be the better choice IMO, especially the non boosted versions ;)

My MSi is on a 7970 board with an extra VRM! Almost ready to put juice through it finally :rockout:

Can you run 3d mark11 and let me know what score you're getting? I am getting a low score I think, only 6100

EDIT: nvm, for some reason running the bench centred instead of stretched messed with my FPS, now with it stretched across my monitor it's scoring 7495 at the stock 950mhz, now to OC :D
