Arciks,
Its time for an RMA. When you see problems like that before you get into the OS it's not a driver problem because the driver hasn't loaded yet. Your card in this case needs to be replaced. Once you RMA the card (you can do it through AMD website) you shouldn't have any problem. Unless this is the result of a tweaked bios.

nope my bios is on default i dont do any bios tweaks or ultra overcloks.and i already received rma and sended vcard to shop back they will test and inform me on next week.

Ive seen that problem occur on a Laptop Monitor and it was the Monitor itself, since the LCD was Widley used on Laptops before Desktops they share the same components excluding internal interface.

Hi Arciks, I read this thread and I have the exact same problems you have/had with your 4870x2. I send it back to the shop and they say it is fine and want to give it back. I am kinda desperate now. So what ever happened to your card after RMA?

I would like to know also what happened. I have been having troubles whit my 4870x2 in my DFI Lanparty DK 790FXB-M2RSH. Serious cold boot issues and now graphic errors. Then I tried it in the second PCI-E slot and now it is working fine. Also works whit no problems in my HTPC. I have all ready had to RMA the motherboard once. I have begun thinking that the 4870x2 is too much for this MB. Would be very interested what was the MB thread starter had?

What MB do you have ciro?

Hi Tieri,

I have a GA-48x-Dq6 motherboard. When I got the 4870x2 back from the store (them saying the card is fine), I stuck it in the second slot. It worked fine for 2 days. But then the first symptom reappeared. During windows the screen all of a sudden shows everything in grey (this is really not the screen cable). So I kinda gave up. It is either the motherboard or the vid card, I don't know. Only thing I really know is that my 7300gt has no problems and is working like a charm.
