Holy Crap that was scary

The board I am getting does not. It's a Phenom II X6 1055T that I plan on getting.

that wasnt my question. one thing i did notice about my 700w is that at the time i had a 8 pin cpu power slot on the mobo. the 4 pin psu rail would fit into either slot which was NOT supposed to happen. it was a defect with the rail and not the board. mine was modular not sure if yours is their was a recall iirc. but i didnt bother. i just put it in the 4 on the left instead of the right cluster and my system ran fine.

See the thing is.. if you get like 350W from the wall. Let's say around 300W is already from the 12V line.... The 550W has like 480 some odd W. Sounds like the 650 will be better for headroom later on. I think anyway.

nothing happened im just trying to save you an RMA if you have the ability try shifting positions. that was years ago however. units after that already had the fix. its an idea.
