I don't know if this game will be good or not but I love the concept. I've posted info before but I forgot about it. Honestly a war like this would end up nuclear. What can I say? The U.S. are sore losers. Anyway the Japs being submissive to China or Korea is more far fetched than the U.S. getting invaded.

They are not. Except the two bottom promo pics.

This trailer is over a year old.

If nothing else I think the graphics will rock.

Looks good, could be good, details seem scares, but think this is one to keep my eye on.

Yeah, I posted this game a while back. It's been in development for sometime now. It does look interesting. But I'm not too keen on Kaos Studios after Front Line Fuels of War.

I think its "shaft" however you spell it or "Whiskey Papa" also known as White Phosphorus.

Their previous game, Frontlines: Fuel Of War, was one of the few games to challenge Battlefield for a large scale combined arms experience. I'm all for competition in this area. Can't have DICE resting on their laurels.

Waiting patiently for details of the multiplayer side of the game. With the major focus on single player, I can see it possibly getting less attention than it in FFOW. Which would be a shame, I don't buy too many FPS games for the single player any more.

Kaos are the guys who also made BF2 in conjunction with Dice. They used to be known as Trauma Studios, and better known for their Desert Combat mod for BF1942.

Sorry for my other thread.. I guess my search skills aren't up to snuff.

I am playing through the Fuel of war single player now. It's really good and unique.. didn't play BF2 - I don't play online frag games.. (bores me to tears) What I like about Homefront, is that your not Military.. you probably wont be flying any choppers or have access to the higher tech stuff like an army would like the drones. ( I could be wrong)

Fuel of War was so buggy, there are a total of 2 gigabytes of official patches for the game. Can you imagine.. 2 gigs ! I think they must have learned a lot of lessons from all those bugs.. I hope so.

The really cool thing about this game is how it might reflect real life. Sure there is the N. Korean situation heating up, but The United States is currently being invaded right now on it's own land by paramilitary drug cartels and international terrorists that are working together. These people have automatic military rifles, grenades, explosives like c4 and rocket launchers. The front lines are in Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge in Arizona. The situation is so dangerous that there are signs posted around the zone telling Americans they are not allowed to enter.. even the border patrol cannot enter. You can think of this as Mexico's border effectively being extended into the United States, so the idea in this game of Korea getting hundreds of thousands of people for an invasion force on the ground here is very possible. The Mexicans do it every year.

The Gov is trying to downplay this as to not scare the population, but the people who live there know whats going on.. That's why Arizona felt they needed tougher laws to help protect themselves. These people are getting into this country.
