Well thats because the stock cooler sucks a** If you put a Zalman VF-900 It'll drop the temp by 20c.

I have a VF900 for it, but it really shows how unneccisarily hot these things are getting.

While this may be true with X1900's single slot cooler, The stock x1900xt/xtx cooler performs better than my vf-900! :eek:

I don't think Unnesessarily is the word I think they know what their doing in terms of making video cards.

Yes probbly because of the fact that it blows hot air out of the case, if only Arctic Cooling made a NV Silencer for the X1900 series..
