sadly this is outlawed in my State. I understand why, you can hunt with it here, but still it would be neat to own.

Ya, they are nice, a local dealer told me he can get me one for about $7500... Pretty pricey piece.

Explosives are always fun, but you could also drill a hole in the tip of the shell and put a few drops of water in it and re-seal it, when the bullet makes contact the water has no place to go so it will blow the shell apart, and with a 50cal shell that wont be so pretty.

I don't know anyone that would hunt with a 50cal... Seriously its too loud the rounds cost a fortune and nothing would be left of your kill.

I do what I want on family owned land. All 12,000+ acres of it. Let them try and come tell me what to do out there.

our neighbor ans us have an agreement, we share the our land. thus we have enough room to go shotgunning on it. and i don't have to worry about hurting people since the property is huge within its elf.

damm how did you come to owning 12,000 acres of land!

    Nah.

I'd love to have an open area to shoot long distance. There's a Beowulf .50 upper by Alexander that would fit nice on my AR-15.

Well taking away weapons or weakening the way you defend yourself if the economy hits rock bottom and people start to riot and marshal law is drawn. Could this be part of the plan? i have no idea what them things are im british but they say they are coffins for 4 people they seems to be making thousands and thousands of them and buying up land to store them on??

just wanted somone to shed some light on it??

Yeah man the M107 is a nice rifle. Don't know why you would like to have one as a civilian though. The .50 is overkill for anything really, maybe that's why? If you're not that keen on semi and just want the longest range rifle possible the TAC-50 by McMillan and the AWM in .50 by Accuracy International are also great rifles.

with the economy going to hell, and people not able to afford anything, i can see someone coming into my house and stealing tv's and electronics. Hell, who would want a 2,000 dollar computer, and as the security of our house, we have a lot of cars, and a movie room, 80inch projection tv, i mean that is a lot in hardware to afford to loose.

It happens in other towns now. but the police have no ability to do anything about it. In my town self defense is necessary. The state police take about 40 mins to get here, so if you call the police, they will come 40 mins later. that means you can empty a house in the time it takes to get here. Self defense is necessary.

The economy sinking means the police will be cut back to help balance budgets in town and cities and states where the income is less then the expenses. For example our town might cancell the State police, because the State of New Jersey is chagrin our town 80,000 per month for expenses due to the rising costs of manning the state police, and fuel. Our town might be small in population but has alot of area to be policed. Our town can't raise taxes in this economy, and they can't afford to pay it, especially since Corzine cut out our funded during his spending cuts.

Now, the reason our town has no crime is because everyone knows the rumors that our town is full of rednecks with shotguns and rifles. And yes plenty of rich people live here, and plenty of them own guns. our town has almost 2 guns per person in our town. Even robbers do fuck with us, instead they will go to the town up where guns are more rare, and the police are more vast. and even still robbers have been shot and killed robbing houses in little egg, and the police don't care, they can't afford to investigate robberies either.

Well Iv lived under martial law in American and we got along just fine. In fact since everyone was so armed we all pretty much stayed polite. I know a lot of people think that the U.S. is going to collapse and become some chaotic wasteland but I hate to break it to you jokers we have been worse off. Maybe next millennium the buzzards will have a chance.

Also this "NWO" everyone keeps talking about can't happen in the U.S. BECAUSE its people are armed. IF the U.S. government decided to take away that RIGHT you better start to pack your bags everywhere else in the world because you're next in line for the "camps".

I agree. I would be the first to go and move to the first state that starts session from the US. I think that would be either Texas or Arizona, maybe Georgia. Not sure yet.

Economy failing and crime rates skyrocketing is the main reason I have been considering trying to find myself an M4 and an MP5 *but being that's post 1985, it's not going to be exactly legal*.
