how can i fix my gtx 590 ?

hey guys !

i have a problem with my gtx 590 ,and the problem is the card is broken so i don't know how to fix it

and yeah i lost the warranty of my card by changing the cooler to a waterblock ! and the nooby stuff that i lost the cooler !

so the big question is how the card is broken ? i really don't know .. maybe temp so high or bad setup of the waterblock maybe bad day , any way i inspect the card and i found 2 place on it have a burn smell

so i hope the vrm / mosfet not dead ! and if yes how to fix it
my second question is :what the name of the little electronic? fusible or a transistor or what ? because when the gtx is dead i saw a smoke from it ! so can i just build a bridge on it or something like that ?

and can i enable 1 gpu if the second gpu 2 have a dead vrm/vc/mosfet ?


btw i have 2 gtx 590 and 2 psu 600w corsair /ocz

Read W1z's review if the reference GTX590 from ASUS, same problem as you. The VRMS fried, and the fuse popped to stop the card from catching fire. Its dead.

Were you running the card at stock voltage? It's well known that gtx 590s have weak VRMs, I remember seeing the launch and consecutive days filled with records of reviewers blowing up their samples with very tiny overvolts.
Chances are that if you overvolted the card is dead.

Gtx 590 are well known to catch on fire, try to return the card and buy somethig different.

ahhh .... i guess it's not the same problem , because hes problem is about oc and my problem it's not from oc because i didn't oc my gtx !
