Pretty good deal indeed. I've ordered one yesterday for 150 EUR and it comes with the data transfer kit (SATA to USB converter). Not as cheap but still the cheapest in my country.
I'm getting it on thursday if all goes well. I used to have Corsair Force 3 120GB before but was a bit disapointed by the performance and reliability. While it worked in Aspire One, the performance was very poor, probably due to Aspire's guts that were a bit weak. Then i used it in much newer AMD Fusion powered notebook and i was getting BSOD's every time it decided to go into sleep mode (or come from it). So i sold it. Now i've decided to go with the Marvell controler. At least they say Crucial has very good reliability track record. Almost on level of Intel. We'll see how it goes when i get the drive.

Btw, what is the 2 year warranty replacement that you mention? Don't these drives come with 3 year warranty anyway?

Its a 2yr replacement no questions asked, if it fails.

When it comes to computers, its worth the extra money to avoid the big headaches, I'm sure you found this out. I need a reminder and your that reminder to me, I forget sometimes:)

If that means that you bring it there and they instantly give you a new one, then yes, probably worth it. But with SSD's, if it doesn't work, there is hardly anything you could do or you did to cause that. Only thing is that you need to RMA it which may take some time to resolve.
I usually buy additional warranty if the product comes only with 1 year warranty. One year goes by very quickly. Plus, such extra warranties usually cover usual breakdowns, lightning strikes and even physical damage caused by the user which is quite useful sometimes.

I run one and a very good drive.
Although have to run it off the Intel controller as the Marvel side
or Sata 3 nothing but troubles.
Sorta ruins the purpose of Sata 3 but my next board will take care of that.;)

Mine came with the 0002 firmware and had to update it to 0009.
Check and make sure yours is up to date.

Although the newer ones should have the updated firmware.

Later:)

256gb M4 here. Going strong for 3 months now. Came with 0009, easy firmware update to 0309.

I got mine used on ebay with less than 1 hour of usage. Just a windows install to test speed. The previous owner had partitioned it and it was a bit different to get rid of it then it would be with a regular hdd.

But I love it! Very fast.

According to amazon its the best selling SSD, and for good reason. I'd of personally went with newegg though as they go on sale for $130-150 fairly often, and I'm pretty sure they come with a 3 year warranty.
