How good are Xigmatek Modular PSU ?

Thinking of buying a modular PSU after my old Corsair TX650 got RMA'd .

These are the choices,

Looking to go cheap and a PSU that can run Crossfire , looking to go 750W with Xigmatek .

The Xigmatek is a Channel Well build, so it should be of good quality. Anandtech did a PSU comparison including the Xigmatek NRP MC651: Power Supply Roundup: 650W-680W

my Channe Well built Antec Smartpower blew. Did they clean up thier act?

Yes hat, actually the newer Channellwell OEM built's are a bit better. Go for it wolf, if you can't find the $$ to go with a Seasonic or a Corsair then a Xigmatek would be decent.

Looking to go modular this time, have had 2 non-modular PSU's and its a mess in my Case . Unlike Lucky few I'm not blessed with Full Tower Cases or the Antec's or the CM Stackers

Have to be content with this, considering I got it for $20 NEW !!!

That is a very nice case wolf. I 'd rather just save the $$ and go non-modular and put it towards quality but to each his own. Yeah, I am beleiving the Xigmatek would work just fine.

I am pretty sure that my Toughpower 750W is a Channel Well and it does FINE, I would go with it, they have gotten better since the Smart Power series.
