Your CPU, GPU and RAM are fine. Get an SSD for your operating system and programs you use on a daily basis. I think it would be the most noticeable for day to day usage.

If you want to save cash, you could go for the 250gb model.

For gaming? Not any time soon. i5's actually often beat i7's in gaming short of an incredible overclock or something, because few games can take advantage of the extra threads hyperthreading provides.

I don't have any advice, but if you ask me checking back tomorrow after other people have had a chance to chime in might not hurt. I think you'll see a big performance boost, personally.

It might help to know the games you play and the resolution you run at.

Why don't you fill in your system specs and tell us what sort of games you like to play. It's all a bit too vague otherwise so people can't give you a proper answer without the right info.

If you didn't order GTX 1060 already, consider an RX 470 4GB. It is one powerful GPU and it's also cheaper than GTX 1060, while being just slightly slower. I tested Asus RX 470 4GB with Far Cry Primal (Ultra settings) and it runs flawlessly at 1080p.

You don't need an i7. Your i5 will be fine for the next 4-5 years.

as far as gaming goes, an SSD will only help with map/level loading times. it will not yield better FPS over a mechanical hard drive.
