How Many Computers Can Use A Windows Xp Cd?

    Hey guys, im building a computer for my mom (novice) and i want to re-use my windows xp cd. will it work? Can 2 computers use the same cd and work properly?

    If you're asking "can you" ethically, then no.

    The simple answer is YES. It is possible, just not moral. Also, it depends on what type of windows it is.

    I've had XP (MCE) of 3 computers at my house. Had to make one phone call to MS when I had a "authentication error" during my last install, but otherwise smooth sailing.

    alright, thanks guys. i was wondering if there would be a prob, but i guess the authorization comes after around the 3rd use of what ive read '
