The advantage with the RGB capable ones is that you can sett the colour you prefer, and then leave it at that colour all the time.

Yes, Unless you want white. Its either bluish or yellowish on most RGBs. Its fun to set the RGBs to the app/game theme when launched. When launching a video I have it where only the functional keys are lit the others are off. When I was bored i did end up matching the RGBs to the games theme.

I guess it served its purpose by entertaining me.

I went from a $5 second-hand but mint Logitech K120 to a $155 WASD CODE keyboard with white LED backlit keys and MX Cherry Clears and I have zero regrets. It was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. If you don't want to buy an expensive keyboard, don't - no one is forcing you to do so but don't criticize anyone who does. It's a person's choice to do so and it's about choice isn't it?
