How much Best Buy charge?

You guys know how much Best Buy charge to diagnose / repair simple hardware problems (minimum-maximum?)
Im doing a presentation on cost efficiency of knowing/learning about computer but didnt have time to go to the store...

The cost is usually whatever they advertise (I've seen different rates for Best Buy) plus all the data on your hard drive, when they reformat and install Windows because that solves everything (tongue in cheek humor here). This isn't a very straight answer, but it does speak to the more complex and indirect benefits of knowing/learning about computers (data recovery can cost thousands of dollars).

thanks TIGR and Solaris17, so i can say something along the line like it cost somewhere around 50-100 bucks just for them to take a look at it regardless of the problem and it will cost more for the repair itself...

I'd call your local Best Buy and find out. You can go to their website use store locater to find your nearest best buy get their contact information call them and get a 100% accurate cost.
