Dunno where you're gonna sell it, but I can tell you you'll get more if you sell everything separately. And you're nuts cuz that seems like a pretty new setup too...

you are from the uk aren't you? 3 pounds = £3,00. what do you want:
    three pounds (£3,00)
    three hundred pounds (£300)

oh and by the way from my first post 3gs = 3,000 three thousand pounds(my mistake I read it wrong)

LOL, If you even paid that for it I would be uber suprised !!!!!!(unless you are a "I want all the bestist brand newist thingies out, and bought them on release)

The system you got will do you for at least a year, unless the money is for other things. Although you could do with another 512 to utilise the ddr function on your mobo!

You mean Dual Channel, not Dual Data Rate ;) And his CPU doesn't support that, so he doesn't need an extra 512MB.

If you pay 1600 in parts, you could have gotten it for 1450 in one piece. Don't ask why, but assembled stuff is always cheaper. I think you could sell it for about 1200 pounds max, but I wouldn't pay that for it.

First off it's a 754 and he probably wants to upgrade so he can get a 939. Second off, since it is a 939, he is already running the max amount of ram he can run unless he takes out one of the 512mb sticks and replaces it with a 1gb stick. Thirdly, since you are running 3 sticks it is more than likely running at PC2700 speeds, socket 754s are weird like that. Lastly, if you paid 1,600 for parts there's no way you're going to get 3,000 for the whole shabang. Maybe 2,000 tops. Most people don't want 754s anymore though. Another thing is things tend to depreciate once you buy them, and especially since you have a 754 I wouldn't expect to get more than 1,000-1,200 for everything. If I were you I'd just sell your motherboard and processor with one of the 512mb sticks and upgrade to 939.
