How much do you spend on headset/headphones?
I spent $79 on my last set.
mine cost 5$, so i voted 0$ thats the closest.
Wasted almost a 100euro on 5.1 Headset once - big mistake. Won't ever buy anything beyond stereo which is best for FPS sound whoring and comfort.
About $150 on my Corsair Vengence 2000 Wireless set.
200$-300$ is my price range
havnt exceeded 50$
spent about 250 on my pc350 games when they first came out.
I salvaged (found?) two pairs steelseries headphones, and used the working parts until I got them to work properly. So I spent 0 on them.
17 dollars once the rest is free with other hardware or I listen to my 4.1 setup.
i have spend for my corsair vengeance 1500 81€ and is my first high level headset ,i have used in the past low price headset like che microsoft 3000 xl live chat worth 24€ .
Talking about headphone if i have the money i would go over 100€ or plus but i dont have a work right now so only spend 20€ on my sony mdr-EX50LP good sound for the price to use with my phone xd.
I'm never going to give up my HD 600's. Never.
I spent 300€, I probably won't need to spend that much ever again.
None...don't use them.
Voted free as I won my current ones (Sony something, they're ok) in a Facebook contest. I would spend way WAY more than $100 if I could.
When I bought my Sennheiser 280 Pros they were on sale on amazon for like, one of the best buys I ever did, had a pair of Grado SR-60's I believe, were nice but didn't care as much for the open design.
I spent about $110 on my current Roccat Kave 5.1ch headset, and I enjoy it for the most part aside from the headband and the sheer weight of the headset. I haven't cared to get into audiophile gear, so if I can tolerate the way a headset or speaker system sounds, it is fine with me.
I think we should have a clear boundary between $100+ and $200+.
Currently using TF10 for my daily use, but my "headset/headphone" (not earphone) is Creative Fatality so that puts me in the less than $25 range. Is that a good thing or bad?
AKG HSD 271 ... cheapest you'll get it anywhere is $350, most markets it's considerably more.
Don't buy them due to not needing them.
Don't use them.
Also, I like my ears to breathe.
Using a Sony MDR-MA900 that I got for $199.
Yeah, there's a pretty big range of headphones in the 100 to 200 USD range to have its own category... maybe even the 200 to 300 range as well.
Picked up a pair of AKG k172HD's for next to nothing, like $60 BNIB! There was an in store sale that day plus they (CanadaComputers) price guaranteed the monitor i bought the week before which was a $50 return! So i lucked out i guess
Otherwise they would've been closer to $125. Which is reasonable i think Added a Fiio e6 for like $30, so less than a Cnote and i got a pretty decent portable setup
I can't take my vinyl with me on the road anyways so why bother spending the $$$
Eventually i would like to get either some Grados or AudioTechnicas for home useage but the AKGs are doing just fine ATM
I was previously using a pair of SkullCandy 50/50 IEMs that i scooped on clearout from BB, but they didn't last. IEMs hardly ever do IME They were Ok, a tad bass heavy (funny to say that in an IEM) but easily tamed with EQ.
Wish i still had my dads ancient set of KOSS fones
Gotten mine free. Use headset when I need to talk over mic(Which is rare), or headphones when I'm in a room with others and don't want to disturb. So rarely use headphones/set with my computer. Mostly use headphones when I'm listening to music on my Ipod or phone.
When I use them, I use a Sennheiser HD 56(The most comfortable headphones I've ever used). Or a König something(The most uncomfortable headset I've ever used) when I need a mic.
Budgeted $100 for some....... haven't found that perfect one just yet....but when i do , its up to $100
