no not even close .... if it was off the shelf brand-new maby but thats not possible because they don't make that stuff anymore ...
try more like £160
anyone that pays the £250 for it is getting ripped off thats almost 400 USD for that someone could build a Quadcore with a midrange gpu . inclusion of the monitor is not relevant ...

Don't tell me not even close when you don't even live here and know the cost of living, really? You obviously are not clued up on the price differences between the US and the Uk, my prices are accurate give or take, have a look on ebay.co.uk if you want to confirm...

As an example my brother recently sold a much lower spec PC (1.6 dual core, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD etc) with 19" monitor and possibly integrated graphics for £175

For a start our minimum wage is about $1.50 higher per hour than the US, hence the relative price of living is also higher in line with inflation, not only that we have a lovely thing over here called VAT, value added tax which is 20% on top of nearly everything you buy, food and other exclusions apply. So again, you're comparing apples to bananas and it's not relevant.

and yea, that's why I responded as the cost of living in the US and UK are two totally different things, I wanted to point that out without being a douche about it :toast:

And yea it sucks our hardware costs about 30-40% more here :shadedshu

Try look for a mini ITX board for the C2D and ram.
They are out there.

That is/was my plan with my Q6600 until the seller ran out of the Zotac Mini ITX 775 skt boards.

Have it as a little portable PC which doesn't take up space.
