Do next:

SliStringInstaller(ASUS button) + HALMod + unmodded drivers = must SLI

Thats good .. but when u said :

whenever you want, but modded driver and HALMod will work only you select ASUS cert

That means : SliStringInstaller(ASUS button) + HALMod + unmodded drivers = no SLI

I am sorry if i miss understand you .

You speak english just fine mate, your english is much better than my Ukrainian! :)

@freeman:

HALmod only works with the ASUS cert.

Modded drivers only work with ASUS cert.

So use the ASUS cert, got it

Looking around, an Asus P5Q Deluxe was SLI'd successfully. The P5Q Deluxe is nearly identical to the P5Q Premium. Comparison
What process was used in the P5Q Deluxe to make it work?

9800GTX in SLI on a Rampage Extreme

Okey guys, here we have some 9800GTX SLI on my Rampage Extreme.

This is what you want when you have rebooted after the "SLI hack".

SLI capable system, yes indeed, lets open NVIDIA control Panel and choose "Enabled SLI".

Benchtime, single vs SLI.

Rampage Extreme, E8600 @ 500x8,5 4,25GHz, 2x2 OCZ Platinum LV 1600C7 @ 1600 777 21 1N tRD 8 Strong, XFX 9800GTX Black Edition

Single

SLI

Single

SLI

Single

SLI

Single

SLI

The scaling is pretty awesome and ~38 avg fps in Crysis Warhead, Enthusiast @ 1680x1050 with two 9800GTX isn´t bad at all.

Thank you guys who made this happen, :respect: :rockout:

Works a treat.

The difference between SLI and Single is pretty staggering..

I've got a P5Q Deluxe, I outlined what I did in this post.
http://forums.techpowerup.com/showpost.php?p=1585864&postcount=1794

Good luck! I'm still yet to post some benchmarks from my system, should get some time tonight! Looking forward to testing it! :)

Just did a clean install using another hard drive, ACPI 2.0 was enabled in the bios. Used SLIstringinstalled with an ASUS string, rebooted. Used Halmod 0.8, rebooted. Installed the 190.62 drivers, reboot. No sli.

Man, this is getting frustrating. I'm about to get some ATI cards and Crossfire...

I don't know if it helps, but if you want you can flash my 9800GT Bios for both cards. Works for 8800GT/S@9800GT, latest from asus.

Your SS is too small to see.

I was in a rush, I'll fix that up after. Add some more benchmarks too!

Sorry mate, hopefully anatolymik can help you here. I am no expert I just documented what I did to get it working. Did you run SLIInstaller/Halmod through CMD with admin privs? Makes it easier to see if there's any errors..

Has anyone here had success applying this SLI-mod to Vista or Windows 7 32-bit on an AMD chipset motherboard? I’d really like to get the sli-mod to work on my MSI GD70 as it has four PCI-e slots spaced at double width. I hope to try four GTX 260’s in quad-sli but I’m not sure if that’s even possible?

BTW I have tried this sli-mod on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 all 32-bit OS’s using three different AMD chipset motherboards but each time without success.

Halmod is for Win7 x64 systems, for x86 OS's you will need 190.62 driver mod + stringinstaller v1.81.
