MadBoy89, your PSU Corsair TX650 only has 2x PCI-e power cords, how did you connect the other card? Have you used four individual molex to connect to two 6 pin adapters for other card ?

Tested with CPU at 3GHz only ?

Have you tested Memtest86+ ?

the TX650 is a single rail PSU, so it doesnt matter how he connects the cards, so long as he does connect them.

the other stuff (OC testing/memtest) sounds like a good start.

it's possible to connect one molex to such 6 pin adapter and two molex for the other, so 3 molex for both 6 pins...I've tested and it works, but not for HOURS I think. Just wanna know if his cards are powered enough.

EDIT /// What I tested was ONE molex + ONE 6pin PCIe cable. Never tested 3 molex for one card. Best he could do is connecting one 6 pin cord for EACH card and fill with adapters.

Once I used my HX620 in that way: 1 PCIE in each card, 2 molex -> 1 PCIE in the first card, 1 molex -> 1 PCIE in the second card. Never had any problem whatsoever. Now I'm with 2 Y-shaped cables that I ordered from Corsair - all cards are now with PCIE.

But that corsair is powerfull enogh to run 2x GTX 295 :D

BTW,
With 0.9 SLI patch + original driver ( 258.96 ) do i have to apply Forceware patch 1.1 or it is not needed anymore with new Sli patch ?

No need of patch 1.1. At least, I'm not using it and I have no stability issues and SLI is enabled and working.

Thanks for doing it anatolymik!:)
Beside of all these major problems, i seem to have a minor bug since one of the last new patches...
I used 258.96,on Win7 x64, with 2x 8800gt on a 790GX Board, and it worked without major flaws since then (your recent patches made some games even smoother tho... NFSS for example, or Dirt 2 ;))
But now, after a few days of unproblematic use of the new patch, i noticed both memory temperature sensors of both my 8800gt seem to have vanished from the system :twitch:
they dont appear in Everest, nor GPU-Z... PCB Temperatures and GPU Temperatures are existant, like normal.
Can this be a bug of the patch, or is the error to be searched in my hardware?
I would be glad of any advice!;)

it's not the patch problem for sure.
but you can do something. disable sli and reboot. but boot your pc on non-sli option. and see what happens. gpu-z doesnt shows it for me too. but everest shows

i had problems with your 0.8b on my system before (i think i updated my system specs so check it out) i had to use the 0.7 one. (im talking like 6months ago).

the other day i tried the newer B3 with the 260.63 and system wouldnt work
got blue screens when playing game or even just surfing or doing nothing after about 2-4mins like some of the other ppl

i was thinking about trying the 0.9 with the 260.63 in a bit but i think the 0.8b and the b3 and i bet the 0.9 dont work because what your doing to the bootloader.

is it possible 0.7 might work with 260.63 as it used to work for i think it was 258.49 (was the highest i could go at least) with a modded .inf

anyhow i think some people might be having problems with the 0.8 and 0.9 because they might be running a pirated version of windows where they slic mod the bootloader already.

could your 0.8 and 0.9 be modding the already modded bootloader and messing something up?

do you know what i mean?

and no one in here accuse me of a pirate im just sayn :banghead:

ok so mainly what im asking is
what does 0.7 do different then 0.8 and 0.9?
explain what is does to bootloader please

Okay, not for XP64. My cards are too weak for Win7, so I'm out. Good luck guys!
