how to remove GRUB

    I installed Linux the other day, and was dual booting between it and Vista. but then i decided to remove linux. Now behold GRUB boot loader. I cant get past it. tried a few different things with the vista boot disk and going into repair and then in DOS typing some stuff like fdisk /mbr, thats didnt work. any thoughts??

    i got it , its apperantly different for vista its command prompt then bootrec.exe/fixboot

    Your 9 months too late :eek:

    And you never remove GRUB (or any boot loader for that instance, who wants to to that?) but replace it with another...in this case...the Vista boot loader.

    Yea well I ran across this when I was trying to get rid of it so others in that situation will run into this too so it will be here for the future. You can get remove the GRUB, I did but I'm running linux now
