How to safely wipe the SSD and HDD of my laptop at the same time?

Hi,

I would like to know which is the best tool for wiping of the SSD and the HDD of my laptop at the same time?

The Win 10 OS is installed on the SSD,and I would like to wipe it,but I would like to wipe and the HDD too!

Please tell me!

You can't wipe both at the same time. It's not possible to wipe an SSD currently in use. You are going to first have to wipe the HDD and then wipe the SSD using a bootable utility. If it is a samsung SSD, the samsung magician software can do this for you. Partition Wizard can wipe your HDD for you.

Or use file shredder for the HDD. Download at http://www.fileshredder.org That's if you want a secure wipe
With the SSD pull it and use another PC to use the manufactures software to do a secure wipe

I forgot to add to my original comment, never use traditional utilities to wipe an SSD. Rewritting each cell in an SSD multiple times will hurt it's life-span. Always use the manufacturer utility to do so. The manufacturer utilities are designed to empty every cell on the SSD without having to write over them.

If I might suggest, have just one thread about your laptop and it's issues, I see several all over the place, some HDD, Some graphics, some Bios etc, for members trying to help it seems like they are trying to catch a train to a number of destinations at the same time as each of your threads seem to develop into other subjects/content.

Use a utility like partition magic or norton to wipe the hd and use the manufacturer's utility to erase the SSD. If you're done with the computer you could take it to a data destruction company. There are many in any city that has a lot of business offices.

Just boot to the Windows installation media, and just format both drives.
