How to set a timeframe for playing games?

I need an advice - how do I best set a limited timeframe for a game to be played?

Example:
I need to set a one hour timeframe pr. day for my son to play WOW - not at a specific time - just limited for one hour pr. day

The OS is Vista Ultimate

Parental Controls built into Vista? Never used em but you should find em in the Control Panel. You may be able to set up something in there.

Simply tell him he can't play longer, if he refuses to listen cancel his subscription.

Not in this case, I'm quite serious. Put down the rules, if he disobeys punish him. You tell him he can play an hour a day, he ignores that he loses the privilege of playing.
You don't want him unable to play so he will attempt to circumvent your solution. You want him not to play because that's the rule. Once he knows he can't play for a month he should figure he'd better stop playing after an hour.
