How to setup physx with my 2x gtx 670 ??

Hi, I have 2x gtx 670 in sli, I would like to know what's the best way to config them.
Should I "dedicate one card" to physx?

or

Just tell nvidia control panel which card to use for physx? or is it the same thing?

sorry... I'm completly new to nvidia products... I just went from amd to them

use both to perform physx duty, reduces overall load on both cards in SLI.

one more question: Since my 2x gtx 670 are pretty close to each other in my case and that they are non-reference, the hot air tends to accumulate fast inside the case, making the first card a bit hotter than I'd like: about 75c...

I know that's a normal temp, but I'd like to reduce it, so here's my question:

Must my 2x cards have the SAME exact clock speeds? or is it ok for me to set the 1st card at a more conservative OC and set the 2nd at a more aggressive OC? (because the 1st card on the top is always the hottest of em both...)

considering the 1st card is what drives the monitor, no, you want both cards at the same clock speed, this applies for both SLI or crossfire. Id recommend possibly a fan attacked to both cards on the back or a slot fan. perhaps you can get a shot of what your configuration looks like?

75c is pretty low for SLI top card. In fact it is quite normal for Asus' DC II, which is one of the best cooler in the market. You may not need to do anything about it.

My Galaxy GTX670 GC can reach up to 88 (top) and 78 (bottom) in demanding games like BF3 with no FPS cap (room temp is around 28). My cards have one empty slot between them, and I put a powerful 120mm fan (90cfm) close to both cards to blow the heat away. It's a simple solution; all you need is a fan and some duck tape.

The temp is still pretty high, but I have no problem so far. I set the fans to auto and they never exceed 50-60% even at full load, so I guess Galaxy must be confident that they can withstand high temperature.
