how to tell the differance between the early 260 and the later 216 260

Well i just have had a email from the supplier that my palit 4870 was faulty and that there going to issue me with a credit note as i dont want a replacement so i have decided to stick with nvidia and im going to purchase a gtx260 but i want the 216 version but how do i tell the differance if its not in the title ? one im looking at is the palit gtx260 216
