just because ur motherboard got a AMD 890FX chipset doesn't mean you can't use one Nvidia Card on it
but it's true that it doesn't support Nvidia SLI but still running a single Nvidia is possible, so you should be able to have a Nvidia card for Cuda/PhysX
i got a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P with a Intel P45 just because i got a Intel Chipset doesn't mean i can't use one Nvidia Card instead of 2 ATI/AMD Cards.
i am currenty using a Sapphire Radeon HD5770 Vapor-X 1GB as main stream card and a Albatron GeForce 8800GT-512X for Cuda/PhysX and h264/x264 decoding with CoreAVC for Media Player Classic.
