Zalman VF900
I'll be using for a sapphire X1950 Pro
main reason I'm probably getting it is because of the newegg deal for 20 off 100 so I'd be getting it for about $15 since I was already ordering some other stuff

here's a better question, do any of you see a better one at newegg for an x1950pro that is same price or cheaper?

That one is supposed to be pretty good, but as you said, not sure how much better if will be than the Zalman, if any at all.

Go with the VF900-CU - it's probably the best/most versatile air cooler I've seen, and definitely the best one I've used.

Yeah you get 6000RPM, but you also get 24DBA and under 6CFM :laugh:

@ suraswami that's loads cheaper than the zalman...I wonder if it'd be worth the downgrade?

just wanted to give everyone an update
I got the Zalman VF900-Cu in today and installed on my sapphire x1950 pro 256!
took no more than 15 mins and was a piece of cake to my relief
in a fairly well ventilated case, temps aren't exceeding 46C under load! :rockout:
