They have, on some boards, but different board makers place them differently.
Same location on my current board.

For the "Prime" boards yes, but for current ROG strix boards -I is itx and -G is mATX.

100 boards to choose from and every last one will sell out within minutes. Barring of course the bottom end offerings no one wants, those might last a few hours (before they all show up on ebay of course).

Seems the manufacturers are going all in on AL being a biiiig hit. What do they know, that we don't i wonder?

This holiday season is going to be messed up, Intel drew the short straw when they chose to tie their launches to it.
Vendors have been stockpiling since summer in some cases to prepare, but I doubt stockpiling these motherboards, CPUs for them and even DDR5 was an option.

If z590 board prices are any measure of pricing it will be ugly x2 on this one whether is a cheaper ddr4 version as well still stupid priced.
