Well here is my problem...

Recently my G15 rev 1 keyboard has died on me, yes its very sad, by the look of things it may not be replaced. However, the opportunity for a new keyboard is up for grabs. I would be glad to see what suggestions you may have.

* Price is not an issue in my case, fire away!
* I would prefer it to be a gaming keyboard , just to be clear
Thank you for any ideas suggested! :)

I have been using my Saitek Eclipse for about 3 years now. Still running strong without keys fading, no backlight problems or anything. Its cheap too however its not as nifty as the G15. If you used the G15 for binds and key assignments, then I recommend getting it again.

Yea, thats the newer version of what I have. Its got controls for music and volume added on. Also comes in a few different colors. Its the better Eclipse if you decide to get one. Thumbs up from me.

I have this keyboard, it replaced my bulky G15 i really love it. You can change the LED to 3 colors.. to set the mood ;) I love the Writs pad good for long hours of typing and gaming. Last you a VERY long while, i had my original Saitek(The first Verizon) for 2-3 Years and it's still working(though i gave it my GF now)

not only does it look extra cool in white.....but it has an ipod dock for all your ipod needs and you dont need a ipod usb plug checkk it you may like it

EDIT: wouldnt mind getting one myself except I have a Tarantula already.....and I dont have an Ipod.....but that ipod dock seems more useful then the crappy battle eye or whatever thing they have for the other one

Hi Guys !!!
1st i never liked the Razer T to me the response time just wasn't there and the keys fade way to early and it's not worth the money, it sits in my closet now in the box :)
G15 v1 i think was the best, when it died i called Logitech they asked for the product id on the bottom of the keyboard and they sent me a new one and told me to throw the old one away, then that one died and i called again and they sent me another new one, this time the G15 v2 that one is ok but i currently use the siatek Eclipse II this keyboard has a very nice response time in my opinion. and my son uses the Eclipse II also. Now for the Cyborg KB i've heard some complaints about the space bar sticking and i myself experienced it. Not sure how old your G15 is but you might wanna give Logitech a call they have very good customer service.

So far I've found it a lot better to use than my previous Saitek Eclipse 2 (keys faded within 12 months) The response time is fairly decent and only had one problem...

the one problem is that it has a gaming mode when you hold down the windows key button and the razer logo and it disables windows keys... along with my right Ctrl key which i discovered this while attempting to crouch in TF2 -_-

According to a friend of mine you can fix it with the profile settings but I haven't got around to it yet xD
Its also light, slim, and well designed.

I gave logitech a call and my response was pretty negative unfortunately :(
The keyboards are no longer in production, so the only option is for to repair, but this can only be done if i have "proof of purchase". And my luck is not very good when this situation arises. The website i bought from deletes receipts and details after 1 year of being in your account....no proof

I personally use the Saitek Eclipse II and it's great. It's survived a couple of spillages and looks awsome in the dark with it's blue/red/purple backlight.
