The Hyte Revolt 3 is a compact ITX chassis with a handle, and a holder for your headphone. Even though small, the internal layout centers around the ability to hold a 280 mm AIO as well as a long, beefy GPU, making this both a unique and interesting choice for those looking to build a compact high-performance gaming rig.

Although I usually am not a fan of the everybody-makes-one, same ole same same rectangular boxen, I like this one, especially the square vent holes and of course, the USB-C on the front I/O...

Not saying it's the greatest case ever, but nicely done nonetheless

Hot-damn that is a nice mITX case.

It's nice to see something that's closer to mainstream pricing. There's a bit of a gulf between the $60-80 steal cheapies like the Silverstone SG13 or CM N200 - and the high-end, small production run stuff like the NCase M1, Dan A4 SFX, Streacom DA2 - all of which are double this price or more.

Lastly, the motherboard header plug is one big connector instead of several individual ones, which makes assembly so much easier as well.

This is convenient, but I would be concerned about compatibility as I have seen the layout for FP header different between motherboard brands. I guess one could pop out the internal connectors to rearrange them, but why not do something like providing an adapter? My z77 asus board came with one of these adapters where you hook up each (power switch, reset switch, hdd light, power light, etc.) to it, then plug it into the motherboard, which is a time saver.

I saw the press release this morning and wished I could see a picture built. TPU was on top of it, having the review ready.

This is a really cool sff system. I really like this. These systems are more fun to build and take more skill than any of the giant cases. Well done Hyte.

As an SFF enthusiast i would appreciate if in the future we can have comparisons only between cases of let's say sub 20L volume in the SFF category . I have nothing against bigger cases but some of them are way over 30L at which point not only they don't really correspond to SFF but on top of that given the difference in volume comparing their thermal performance makes little to no sense . Other than this great review .

Oh the headers on boards used to be the wild west, but nowadays it is essentially always the same across brands. I have recently used boards from Biostar, MSI, Asus, AsRock, Gigabyte and all of them have the 4 pins first row (Power LED+, Power LED-, Power SW) and 4 pins second row (HDD LED+. HDD LED-, Reset SW).

Fun fact Asus even attempted to go this route nearly 20 years ago by including an adapter to which to connect the cables of the case to "unify them" https://event.asus.com/my/2013/TCO/pages/SuperiorDesign/Q-Connector.html

We used to differentiate benchmarks by motherboard size but unified them into a single test platform in 2021. That way you can still compare it to all the other ITX cases we reviewed (like the Meshilicious or Phanteks Shift - all these ITX cases are still in the comparison charts), but can also see what difference thermals make in comparison to a large chassis. So in the end: you get what you want + more.

Yes! This is exactly what I had with my z77 board. I thought it was great as you didn't have to fiddle with the individual connectors each time you needed to remove them from the motherboard.

Sorry about the necromancy, but I have a question.

The table on page 1 states the case comes with a fan in front and one in the back. Unless you count the PSU exhaust, I can't see any fans on the pictures though. Would it even make sense to have a fan in front since the GPU fans are so close?
