The HYTE Y60 is the company's second chassis. Just like their first, the Revolt 3, the Y60 seems to be a refreshing new statement in both design and functionality with its three glass panels and 45° angles. With a focus on liquid cooling and showing off your GPU, the Y60 can easily become the centerpiece of your gaming desktop.

I wish there were a few low-profile cards tested with that PCIe Riser, and see what could be squeezed underneath it, whether it's a 1-2 stick NVMe card or some network adapter. I like the adapter's design, but the ribbon length doesn't seem like it's "loose" enough to squeeze a few low-profile cards under if someone so desired to use them.

Additionally, I feel they should offer an alternate case option that just has 6, full-height, vertical PCI brackets; with one riser for the GPU, and a second riser to accommodate a second 1-3 slot card.

I like the design and it's good to see designers trying something different. My major concern is GPU cooling, the modern 2.5+ slot card are going to end up awfully close to the side panel. I guess this makes the most sense for a custom loop watercooling build.

Yea, I'd like to know this too. So let me list this out:

I'd rather see a two piece glass panel setup.
I would have preferred a 420 radiator fit in the top, but that would mean very minor enlargement of overall dimensions.
That plastic floor would have looked better with thinner lines to open up airflow from the bottom, but I'm sure that would make tho floor flimsier, unless it was made from a more dependable material.
This seems to be a RGB friendly case but it doesnt show it.
The rear fan should have been 140mm just to decrease noise.
First thing I'd do is replace those bottom fans with 140mm and increase the clearance by adding to, or replacing, the feet.

I think thats enough. I do really like the design, its a fresh look.

Yea, the only thing that would be a deal breaker is ariflow, as I said, it looks too restricted, Fan setup leans towards a positive pressure, not a balance, which, considering the 3 glass panel design, might actually be a good thing.

I love this design, it's pretty fresh.

The review omitted one thing that someone looking to build a high-performance gaming PC on a $200 case will definitely care about, does the riser support PCI Express 4.0? Moreover, is it included? The review sample seems to have a riser pre-installed, but this isn't listed in the box or the spec sheet.

That said, I agree with the statement in the box that a new build should feel new. I wish more case manufacturers would begin taking risks and come with truly fresh designs such as this one. I personally wouldn't mind a case that removes "obsolete" slots like SATA HDD/SSD bays (come on now, most motherboards that will go on a high end build that will have $200 set aside for the case have two NVMe slots, and even then PCIe > NVMe boards exist, with 4 or even more slots included) and new ways to minimize cable clutter, places emphasis on modern ports such as USB-C and a combo 3.5mm jack, while retaining useful buttons that have been removed from some cases lately (such as the Reset button).

Hope to see more from this team, and hopefully iBuyPower will also allow them to be sold overseas.

We designed the case to prioritize the side radiator spot as an intake that works really well to improve both CPU and GPU thermals. Maybe we should make a Y80 though.

I really like this case, nice to see something that's not a box. Would prefer space for 360 or bigger rads at least though. If this had been available when i built my current rig, i probably would have gone with this rather than the o11d xl. Bring on the y80

2. Was this test with a radiator setup as exhaust? I can understand that as intake to make positive pressure
3. Thicker steel / ribbing underneath, or, split into 2 parts, i.e. steel frame to support the fans and other structural supports than use the plastic as an inlay, maybe screws between the ribs for solidity.
4. I have a saying here on TPU, #SayNO2RGB.

Low-key is good.
5. I'm a believer that all fan mounts should have the option to install both 120mm and 140mm fans, I was thinking that if the side mount fans are 140s the 120 rear would be the odd man out.

If you do make a Y80, I cant wait.

I think most riser cables are sold separately (should be), due to the need to different lengths. We're at a point that PCIe5 might/will be with Next Gen motherboards.

My board has 4x M2 slots, no need for HDD's any more. Soon they will only be used in servers and external/NAT. Even 2.5" SSD's are better than cranky old mechanicals.

Paul's Hardware test fit a low profile PCIe card in there in this recent video (

); looks like the rigid extension of the riser adequately addresses this concern.
