Hey mice-friends,
I am looking for a new mouse.
I usually play Overwatch and CS and now i want to switch from my old heavy Roccat kone XTD to something newer and lighter. The mouse should be under 100-90 gram and should have a high end sensor with a low latancey.
I pay attention to quality and durability. I play a hybrid of palm- and clawgrip and arm aim in a low sens style.
The shape of the mouse is improtant for me, too.
My hand-size is 18.8 cm x 10.4 cm. I will be happy about your recommendations and suggestions and i hope you guys are able to help me. Have a good day!

Best mouse by far is logitech G502, any flavor. The scroll wheel is metal and heavy and is best replaced with a G900 scroll wheel, it has the lowest latency of pretty much every mouse on the market and has a wicked sensor. The best/lightest driver is the lgs ver 9, you can get it here.

I've got a Logitech G502, the mouse recommended in here. It's showing its age a bit though, looking at the Glorious Model O or the Xtrfy M4 as my next upgrade. Will definitely miss the scrollwheel of the G502 though, it's awesome being able to lock/unlock it to switch between a very nice tactile scroll or a free scrolling mode. Recommend you checkout the Model O as it seems the M4 isn't available to purchase just yet.

Glorious Model O and smaller version Model O minus. G-wolves Skoll and different shape Hati. Xtrfy M4. Cooler Master MM710 etc. are all current sub-60g honeycomb fad mice. Razer Viper is lone one at no holes but 69g iirc. All others like Logutech G102/203/305/G Pro (same shape, different config), G Pro Wireless, Most of Zowie mice are sub-90g. Although Zowie Divina, originally a refresh of some of their classic models for women with revised shape and gloss pink and blue color scheme (which was later offered with black matte coating) has newer and arguably better sensor than their classic (FK, EC) siblings.

I would say if the model O and air58 grab your attention, Cooler Master makes one with better specs. Never played with the first two, but the MM710 is a solid answer to open frame designs.

I've had really goodluck with the MX780 from G.Skill. I'm using the Logitech G602 right now and mine lasts about 6-7 months before the batteries need changed.

The new MX518. Loved the design since 2005 when I had the original MX518, and now I've had my G400s for over 5 years, not going to get a new mouse until this breaks. Had a G400 before this, the wheel got stuck and I got this when I RMA'd it.

I've been using the Steelseries Rival 310, and it seems solid. I'd even say it's light weight at 88 grams.

l agree, the original MX-518 was great and the new one has lots of improvements, I'd go for the new MX-518, if you like more buttons go for the Hero G502, I like the G403 more, its more plain but excellent performance.

The MX518 is not as good as it once was, That and the G400s, G500s are just cheap copies of what they once were. IMHO tried them all. They didn't hold up

are you sure you tried them all ?

The G500 series mice are very similar to MX-518 and the new once are also good, G400's also, lots of good feedback on them.

Thx. The first who finnaly took in around my interests!

Will the XM1 suit my hand? 18.8 x 10.4. What experiences do you guys have with this mouse (espacially the built quality)

The weights it comes with are optional, the G502 weighs almost nothing (it weighs less than a 3" pocket knife) and you can cut the weight down by swapping out the scroll wheel. The latency is unbelievably fast in all games and my hands are the same size as the op and I use fingertip grip with a wrist rest. Also the pads are super low friction and rated for many kms use, and the buttons have been tested for millions of clicks without failing unlike some other mouse brands.

I wouldn't buy another mouse if you gave me the money to do it. Logitech for life (at least for mice). I used a MX518 for years before finally deciding to upgrade to the G502. The clutch that disengages the scroll wheel click to enable free scrolling is what got me. I played with a demo in Staples and bought one later that day. Absolutely love it.

If it's primarily for gaming, also check out Steelseries like the Rival 310 or 600, I was impressed with the dual depth sensor.

cheers !

My Fav so far was the Asus GX950 ... after 1st one died, I bought a 2nd on Amazon ... it failed in a few months and Asus refused to honor the warranty. Since then two things I always have in the office as spares are Phanteks PF-140SP fans and Logitech MX518 Mice ... I been usng that since the GX950 failed and haven't been disappointed enough to grab something different. The G5xx series is noce but can't justify the T, E & C necessary to get something else.

It's here, my G502 is dead so I have the Cooler Master MM710 53G

I love the wires, very supple and the size and its definitely helped in gaming

I miss the weighted freewheel on everything else
