try checking the time of a recent post, then logging out and checking it i think it reverts to the time of the poster as opposed to Your time.

Hahaha, nice story, I've done that myself (pulled graphics card out with annoying retention clip that wouldn't let go) but luckily it worked for me, it could have ended the same though. We're both numpties!

I've never flashed a video card bios. "I already Fix my card ... the XFX support gave me the vbios." I guess I'll have to read up on breaking and fixing now, just in case.

You guys really need to stop sectioning mod authority. Reaction times would improve tremendously.

It does make it a little awkward sometimes when we see a problem and can't do much, we can still issue infractions directly to a member's profile if they need to be stopped immediately, but then we'd just need to wait for the cleanup crew! On the other hand it means we've each got a much more manageable amount of active threads to watch over, and the supers are usually flying around overhead waiting to swoop in on anything we can't deal with. It works but not always ideal.

I'd just make every mod a supermod and be done with it. That way the workload is shared equally among everybody.

If I remember correctly, the supers can also see and access things that the non-supers cannot, hence the distinction.

Same thing on OCN and most likely other forums, I have powers over the reviews, build logs and cases, but when I see something in a different sub-forum, I'm like HALP! GUISE, HALP!

It's possible however, that on TPU, the supermods can see things that the non supers can't, which is part of the reason for the distinction. Just speculation here.

I actually changed my message since you quoted it, as I've since remembered having just such a discussion in pm with a mod some time back. Obviously, I can't divulge confidential stuff so can't say what it is.
