I have this problem for a little time and i don't know what it can be...

if someone could help me...

the window freezes when the pointer get into the window

it happens randomly on some windows not only that

thanks

the problem occurs on random windows when i point the mouse inside then

i like to increase its size because it is my only icon on desktop

i reformatted a week ago changing the iso of windows too, the problem persists

First off, What a really HUGE!!!! recycle bin you have there

maybe a stupid question but have you tried unplugging and plugging connection of your speaker? Might be a good start to disconnect any sound hardware (speaker, amplifier, headset, either by jack or usb. and start from there.

unplug all the sound devices, remove drivers, reboot, plug the sound device, let windows detect and let windows install their preconfigured drivers, if running, try installing your own drivers.

oh ok now I get what you mean ha ha. Like something weird going on on your computer.

Possible solution is to complete reformat. Or actually there might be fixes but it is better reinstalling, reformatting your computer

Try blowing any foreign material out of the sensor with some canned air or with a camera lens duster.

Also, if you are OCing... try it at stock.

i'm not OCing and the problem isn't the sensor... the window freezes when the point gets into the window

Might try another mouse . Could be a cheap one - $5 . If it works , the mouse is the culprit or the driver . Also do a virus scan .

Tried using another HDD\SSD ?, maybe there is some thing wrong with that one ( try a scandisk on it ), so take that one out and reinstall windows to another drive see if it happens still.

Make sure the voltages are correct and timings in the bios, and try disabling the sound device though the bios too not just in windows.

Was it doing this when the OS was 1st installed ?, or after time as if it's after time it could be some thing your using\installing.

Checked the temperature of the CPU and motherboard ?.

well, let's go...

1: using another hdd not yet... i'm using ssd raid0 of two 120gb kingston v300 (will try that)
from intel raid info everything is ok and scandisk too

2: i didnt change anything in the bios, the voltages are all right

3: that i cant remember, but as long as i can remember it started about a month ago

4: the temperatures are ok too, i'm always cheking that... cpu, motherboard and gpu

ps.: can be something related with the oil i used to fix my mouse click? i tried another mouse but the problem persists
ps2.: the sfc /scannow found an error on openal.dll but cant fix it... will try tomorrow with an offline image of windows

Well when you do don't install any thing and have a fiddle around and see if it does it, if it stops try installing your stuff one by one with tests to see when it happens.

Is it possible that the explorer.exe gets stuck? I've seen similar behaviour myself and it was simply the explorer getting stuck. Next time it happens, open up the Task Manager and restart the explorer.exe to see if it has any effect on your issue. If it does, you know where to dig then ...

explorer was working fine... tried to re run it and the problem still the same

later i will try another windows instalation checking each step until i get this problem again

Windows reformatted, made updates, drivers updated, programs installed, office ok, adobe cc ok, developer tools ok and 1 day later... same problem

reformatted again, made updates, drivers updated, firefox installed and just surfing on the web to see what rappens...

2016-07-12: 2 days later and nothing for now... installing my default programs
2016-07-12: 12 hours later installed office 2016 + updates and everything looks fine (no reboot yet)
