Of course, i play at 1024*768 resolution to get a constant 30 40fps at very high settings on Vista. its still good eh? this is good since i dont play to upgrade anytime soon. so atleast i will be able to play demanding games like Crysis at very high settings on 1024*768 res with fluid frame rate in the future. I can play at 1280*1024 resolution and i get 25 fps but then again the frame rate isnt constant. it goes below 20fps sometimes. so at 1024*768 the frame rate never goes below 25fps .
Resolution is underestimated. Resolution has a big impact on most games and you lose a lot of frame rates. So why should we play at high resolution anyway since we lose valuable frame rates????
I found that playing games at 1024*768 res gives you the maximum frame rate, while keeping the settings on high. Thats a good balance between quality and performance. So lets adopt ourselves to playing at 1024*768 res.
I am not like those people who has an itch to change his graphics card with every release. I value my money and once i purchased something I tend to keep it for as long as I can.
