Imagine a small spider. its itty bitty legs moving, two at a time as it slowly crawls up your shirt. it moves onto your neck - you can feel it, but you dont want to move. you can imagine, and see an image clearly in your mind that its rearing its fangs back, with venom dripping off them...

yeah i'm just f'ing with ya. i used to be arachnophobic, til i backed away off one and fell off a cliff. 30M fall into water hurts like hell, so now i'm scared of heights instead.

I once saw a tarantula or something IN MY mom's friend's HOUSE... it was in the bathroom and it was on the toilet bowl... thing is it was big enough to not fall, like there was the hole under him but his legs reach to each side of the bowl with ease...

why the hell did i come back to this thread? i new wat u guys would put after i said i hate spiders you tossers! :D

dude I hate them too.... I once used a butcher's knife to kill one... (I made a huge hole in the wall :D)

haha i managed to catch a rather large spider, small in comparison to urs thought, in a glass so i thought payback, got double sided tape and put it all round the glass then removed the glass, evil but worth it for the fear they cause me haha

my best friend in high school was a girl as scared of spiders as i was. we'd literally try and hide behind each other - i'm sure it looked ridiculous when we'd push each other at the spider to distract it before running.

edit: while we're at "bad things i do to bugs" i got a huge bogong moth, superglued a piece of string to it, and glued the other end to a bigass http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&um=1&sa=1&q=huntsmen+spider&btnG=Search+Images&aq=f&oq=.

To be honest i expected some kind of epic battle... but the moth flew away with the spider, never to be seen again.

I hate bugs, therefore I love spiders. Anything that eats moths and bugs are fine by me.

Then again, where I live it's no big deal to see tarantulas cruising on your driveway or the sidewalk during the summer months.

when in SC I hated the scorpions red ant and snakes...

Actually, back then I loved snakes until my dad freaked out when a snake was about to try to kill me.... he was slowlygetting tighter and tighter around my leg until my dad did something... THEN I hated snakes too

I am bumping this because after one year the "a" key has stopped working. I am copy-pasting it right now LOL. I might buy a cheap keyboard instead. lol

I tore it down earlier, the damage was quite extensive but it was still working. Until now.

Letter Z too. LOL. I need a new keyboard indeed.

Same here........ One time I left my pc case panel ajar before going to sleep. The next morning, when I was gaming, the display started artifacting really bad that I had to turned it off. I checked my vid card, little did I know, there was mice poop on it! When the card heats up, the poop turns liquid thus somehow shorting it. I cleaned it up with the trusty contact cleaner and some cotton swabs. It worked alright after that........So the moral......put mice traps inside ur rig.........;)

You mean after all this time you havn't saved up enough to buy a new keyboard?

No, I bought other things (manga, textbook, "The Pacific" book, headphones), and it was working until 2 hours ago.

And yet you couldn't afford the $10 to buy a new keyboard? If my keyboard was half broke and filled with ants, I think I would be getting a new one...

Not really "half broke" since it was only broken for three hours earlier today and two hours a year ago. And it WAS filled with ants, a year ago. My quick repair most probably took it's toll after a year. How come it's "couldn't afford" rather than "choose not to buy"? "The Pacific" was $24, while Hague and Harrop's Comparative Politics was roughly $20, the Pleomax headphones more or less the same price too.

I would say half broke... you yourself said the key you fixed still didn't feel quite right compared to the others. Oh well, it's not my business what you do with your money, I just think it's quite odd that you wouldn't get a new keyboard after that, given thier cheapness...

moths in my rads! on my main rig. U hear the poor bugger's get slammed by the fans

they are usualy in thousand's of bit when i get to clean my rads out!

something ive also experienced before - a long time ago i use to run a crappy Asetek that cooled my X1800XT & my FX-55 during some serious heatwave here im the UK, my room is totally baking so i have to have all the windows open & because it was a tripple fan kit all sorts of shit would get sucked in & brutally dismemberd by the fans - I had to clean the rad out at least once a week to keep it clear of dust n dead bugs

actually an easy solution is soaking your keyboard in water and see those little things fight for their lives. Keyboard safety not guaranteed though.. XD

RAID your keyboard now!!! we want to see what it would do to it :D

Using this now: http://www.deluxworld.com/En/Products/ProductsInfo.aspx?ListID=260306&InfoID=464

Actually better than the one it replaced, it has slightly bigger F1-F12 keys (albeit circular, but still larger than the square ones in the previous keyboard). The "Multimedia" buttons (Play, Stop, etc.) are now on the side, reducing the chance of accidentally pressing them when pressing the F-keys (which happens sometimes in my old keyboard), has an "arm rest board" as well but still as thin as the one it replaced.

I was able to fix the letter "A" in my keyboard! :rockout:

The rubber below the key that presses on the keyboard's circuitry was eaten by ants INSIDE of it

You are taking the Fallout 3 immersive experience way too far.

And some of our wooden steps in our stairs have been eaten by termites. Pest exterminators said that the termite population was controlled because of the ants' presence, so basically a Termite-Ant war was waged before.

Awesome! Maybe it was similar to Band Of Brothers or a Total War game.
